Office Visits
Our practice is committed to providing you and your family with safe, gentle, and high-quality dental care. We understand that you or your child may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. We are sensitive to your needs, and it is our goal to make you feel comfortable visiting our practice while we provide the best possible care.
Your first visit is all about you: your comfort, your happiness, and your health
During your first visit, we will review your dental and medical history with you, and take X-rays of your teeth and mouth. Then, Dr. Diemer or Dr. Tiller will do a thorough examination of your mouth, teeth, and gums. The doctor will discuss any findings with you as well as your concerns to create your own individual treatment plan. We will allow plenty of time to answer any questions you may have.
Our team will also be able to clean your teeth that same day if your gums are healthy. If you have gum disease or it has just been quite some time since your last cleaning, you may need more time and a second visit to clean your teeth.
Bring your smile, but also remember these for your first appointment:
- Completed online forms; or come 15 minutes prior to your appointment to fill out the forms in our office
- Your insurance card
Regular checkups are an important part of maintaining a healthy smile!
The American Dental Association recommends a visit to your dentist every six months for regular checkups and routine teeth cleanings to keep your teeth and gums healthy.
We understand you have a busy schedule, so when you’re preparing to visit our office, please remember your appointments can last between 60 and 90 minutes.
